Completed applied research projects, funded by the Estonian Environmental Investment Centre:

1. Determination of emission factors of NO_X, NH₃ and H₂S, emitted from outdoor manure storages (2010–2012).  
2. Determination of the rate of ventilation air flow in naturally ventilated free-stall dairy units (2011–2013).
3. Updating manure storage and handling standards in cattle farming (2012–2014).

International Cooperation

Baltic Forum for Innovative Technologies for Sustainable Manure Management (Baltic Manure), an Interreg funded project, 2011–2013.

Trials with a grass bioenergy production pilot unit in the framework of the PROGRASS project. The obtained data were used in an article published in Bioresource Technology 118, 332 – 342 (2012).
